Distinguish CNC and Manual There are two kinds of work method of CMM: Manual and CNC. 1、Manual: If you only inspect small and simple feature and the accuracy is not very high, the manual CMM is the preferred. Because the manual machine can not filter the error from the measuring result, the CNC machine is recommended. 2、CNC: If to measure many same parts, and the accuracy is high, you should select CNC machine, and the they can filter the error from different operators. Dmis programmer means the high speed measurement without any error. Tolerance is very important for measurement, the manual can not achieve the small tolerance requirement, but it’s the advantages of CNC machine.

(1)Vertical: In this kind of CMM the probe was installed on the vertical arm, they have high accuracy and good stability.
