The Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) program ended on July 1, 2013. The STAR program was replaced by the. Students with disabilities cannot take the CMA if they are eligible to take the CAPA.

The use of Smarter Balanced Assessments for English-language arts and mathematics with the appropriate universal tools, designated supports, and/or accommodations replaces the CMA tests for those subjects. The CMA for Science will happen for the 2015 - 2016 school year.
